Position Title: Policy Research Assistant (International Students)

Company Overview
We are a professional consulting firm specializing in public policy analysis and strategic research. We provide analytical support to government agencies, international organizations, and private-sector clients. We are now seeking motivated international students studying in Japan to join us as Policy Research Assistants.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct research and information gathering related to public policy

Organize and analyze research data

Draft policy briefs, report summaries, and preliminary research papers

Assist project teams with industry research and interview documentation

Other research support tasks as required


Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a university in Japan, majoring in Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, or related fields

Preferred universities:

The University of Tokyo

Waseda University

Keio University

Kyoto University


Strong research, data gathering, and analytical skills

Demonstrated interest in public policy, international affairs, or social research

Strong English writing ability

Able to commit weekly working hours (flexible scheduling based on classes)


Work Location: Remote only
Working Hours: Flexible
Compensation: Negotiable (based on workload and experience)
Employment Type: Part-time / Research Assistant (Intern / Arubaito)
