Responsibilities
SmallWorld Online English is looking for friendly and reliable online English teachers to teach Japanese children and students one-on-one.
Our students include elementary school, junior high school, and high school students. Lessons may include English conversation, phonics, reading, writing, school English support, and Eiken preparation, depending on each student's needs.
Teachers can teach from home and set their own available lesson times, within our required teaching hours. Lessons are conducted online via Zoom / Google Meet.
We are especially interested in teachers who enjoy working with children and supporting students over the long term.
Native-level English fluency and clear, natural pronunciation are required. Applicants who completed most of their education in English-speaking environments are especially encouraged to apply.
Applicants must currently reside in Japan and have a valid status of residence that allows them to work. Due to the number of applications we are currently receiving, we are giving priority to applicants with Japanese language ability at JLPT N3 level or above.
