We are currently looking for a part-time English teacher. Successful candidates will be in charge of a number of classes ranging from basic/elementary levels up to advanced. We have various kinds of classes such as conversation, travel, business etc.

Since our establishment in 2010, English Buffet has quickly become one of the biggest, well-known English conversation schools in Kyoto.

As a part of the hiring process, candidates who pass the initial screening will be given multiple chances to demonstrate their teaching techniques in front of teachers and be asked to teach a few classes.

We currently employ over 15 teachers from various different countries, and most of our teachers are professionally trained in other fields. We believe in diversity—race, nationality, background, interests, etc.—is the key to success, and we pride ourselves of having one of the finest, most versatile, and hardwoking team of teachers in the Kansai area.

We are looking for:
English Level : native or CEFR C2 level required
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not required
- Strong intrapersonal and communcational skills are a must
- Willingness to help out
- Organized and punctual
- Familiarity or interest in Japanese culture and customs
- Having hobbies and other interests is favorable
